Despite the size of agricultural and construction equipment (including forklifts, trailers, machines and trucks) by the assembly of several components after coating, the painting process can be achieved under industrial surface finishing conditions. With the mixed construction methods; common in this industrial sector, a variety of substrates can be successfully powder coated including aluminum, steel and galvanized steel.
Depending on the equipment’s use, TIGER Drylac® polyester-based powder coatings are used for aluminum. For steel parts endangered by corrosion, a TIGER Shield® two-coat system is recommended, which comprises a corrosion-protecting powder primer and a TIGER Drylac® polyester powder top coat. The application of filler for the removal of substrate defects can generally be relinquished with the use of TIGER Drylac® powder coatings. Due to the high coating thickness achieved compared to liquid top coats, coverage is significantly better.
The optimal quality characteristics, and the high mechanical resistance with excellent edge protection, can be realized with even a single-coat system.
